Picked up my package today Aquos76 - appreciate it, and can't wait to get this baby customized :)

Thanks again - you're a sucker for punishment!

I've heard mixed remarks about these in relation to watching football. Is the box able to keep up and not lag while still showing good quality?

If it fits the bill I would be interested in one!

    Is that possible?

Not if he has a satellite tuner in his wetek

Thanks Aquos76, just picked up my package from PM in Ennis this evening.

Now to try find some spare time to play

    Got mine.

    Many thanks Aquos.

3 pin plug seems to be a dud as others have reported.

    Booted fine.

    Remote seems fine

Default is wired connection so if you want to try wireless then skip the search for networks in the install so that you can change it to wireless in settings using the remote and then add the network key afterwards.

HDMI CEC not working at present. Maybe TV remote is confusing box with my Rasp pi

NOOBS trying to install addons might want to note that one of the big name addons seems to be missing from its repository at the moment.

What kind of TV? I have a samsung one and had to turn on Anynet+ and allow the box in those settings. It's called something different on each brand of TV like Bravia Sync on Sony or SimpLink on LG.

It will turn on the TV and go to the correct input for the box as well as let me use the TV remote to control the box with some limitations but is fine for general navigation and play pause etc. If using android though you will also have to manually enable hdmi cec in display settings.

As for the add on if it's the one i'm thinking of it won't be back , the developer quit working on it last week I believe.

Supplied HDMI cable wouldn't work for me, substituted in another and voila - the beautiful screen of Kodi :)

Both models cost €63 including ParcelMotel shipping via the group buy, €90 direct from wetek themselves.
