We didn't come out of the traps and paid the price.
We're at home FFS. That's no way to start a game of such importance.

    No feckin bottle.

    Silly taking off Giroud.

Now we;re 23 minutes into a game, 1-0 down and no striker.

    Right so that's that.

Another one over before we had a chance.

    Poor return these recent games.

But we drew 3-3 at anfield.

We have loads of bottle apparently.

Terrible decision to take off Giroud. The one player who could hold up the ball and give us an out.

It makes perfect sense. Who else do you take off? You take him off, and play the pacey Walcott up front to counter with your 10 men.

What was he going to do? Was an excellent pass.

    Not get sent off maybe!

Ah okay. different angle. You can see the contact on that one.

    It's still a dive though.

Walcott who has shown zero form lately and who can't hold on to the ball to save his life?

Giroud at the very least is useful for defending corners and could hold up the ball to relieve the defence and could bring others in to the game.

Mertesacker, what was he thinking? Would have to be Costa involved of course, **** all contact but gave that "guy" any opportunity to go down and he will. Shocking performance all round so far.

**** start. Now we see what we're made of.

Hope thats the end of Mertesacker starting, gets caught like this at least once a game. Gabriel hasn't played too bad when called upon and can only get better with some games and as he learns the language. Giroud being taken off is just ridiculous. Lots if space out wide the way chelsea play and we wont be able to get crosses in. Id take flamini off, tell ramsey to not bomb forward at all and leave the front 4 the same. then take of walcott for sanchez if possible!

Classic Chelsea game tho! Can never be straight forward :D

We've made this so easy for Chelsea from the word go.
No urgency, nobody taking on a player and our defenders standing off.

Shocking disappointed in this performance. We really are an easy touch today.

I'm not defending him for the sake of defending him but everything we've created has been down the wings. Nothing has come back up through the middle.

Same old same old sadly. This performance was easily predicted.

What chance do we have or the rest of our players have when our most experienced player lets us down in a big game like this? He was never getting there, moronic challenge on Costa. Just as I type, Flamini should have done better!

Going for the title we should be 110% concentrated nothing else comes into play.

To be champions you have to be ruthless do what it takes to get the result.

The Arsenal way? Let Theo lead us out its his 10th anniversary so let's start with that! Is that enough? nope lets get on to the pitch and our 'Captain' takes off his armband and puts it on Theo!

This my friends is not how you win titles

Flamini off for Alexis at the break. Might as well give this a proper shot.

Why do we always find ways to mess things up ourselves.

    We're our own worst enemy.

No matter how shíte Chelsea are we can't beat them

Perhaps but He's done very little with the ball when he's had it

Walcott has done nothing apart from his one shot against City since a long time. Goes to show how being a ruthless manager can be a very good trait at times, and taking off the worst performer despite it being a big occasion for Theo. Campbell would have been my second choice probably.
