    Yea that goes on constantly.
Whats even worse are the people who let their kids feed them.

My ‘friendly’ Sparrowhawk paid another ‘flying’ visit to the back garden today
Unfortunately he kept his back to me!

Lovely spar, great pics. The adult males really have rich colouring when you get a chance to see them up close. This lad certainly has your garden on his regular beat. The local sparrowhawks where I live also do a regular round of the local bird feeders, garden to garden. Think of it as 'secondary' feeding from your hanging peanut and niger stations :-)

I've been watching this little fella for the last 3 weeks or so- a tough little nut I can tell you.
Just as territorial as the Robin, I think - another male blackcap came into the garden today to about 40 ft away and your man chased him away within a split second.

He would eat apples all day long - and I'm glad to say he seems( to me) to have put on a few ounces in the last few weeks

Hope Lidl keep down the price of their bags of Fun-sized apple :)

The Sparrowhawk was on the prowl today , I was watching the Goldfinches on the feeders when all of a sudden they all took off , every bird in sight left , even the pigeons on the roof behind my house and the Magpies. I went out into the garden to have a look to see what frightened them off , and in the distance , about 400yds away I saw him . The photos have been cropped to the last to get decent sized images , but the L Lenses really captured the image well.....

There seems to be an issue with uploading photos , I keep getting Server Errors , the File appears on the post but no photo is connected to it , has anyone else had similar problems or are the Mods aware of the issue ?

I could only get this one photo to load , Will try again tomorrow to load the rest....

I'm finding Boards very slow and it keeps double loading posts, no doubt a result of the recent problems. I'm sure it will improve.
