heavily cropped, but long awaited pic of a Wren. He flew in front of my camera , paused and was gone....a bit fuzzy, had no time to do anything except open the shutter

I hadn't been getting email notifications of 'replies' to threads including this one for a few days: wondered if it was just me but it seems to be a site problem.

Came across the reply from an Admin on this issue over on the 'site problems thread'.

    'Thanks smile.png
We needed to disable the notifications for a while but they will be back. '

Neither have I but I put it down to the fact that BT/Open Reach have been having lots of outages and day before yesterday was the worst, seems to be back on an even keel now, fingers crossed!

I've moved recently - only local birds are gulls and starlings.
Really miss thrushes, black birds and smaller birds in the morning, not screaming gulls.

This crow seemed to take a dislike to the heron today... kept 'mobbing' it(if one crow can mob?).

When we had lots of herons outside the nets protecting our fish tanks we encouraged the crows and fed them they were the best heron deterrents.
