    hi

I have a dropped metal frame ceiling on ground floor 4 inches under concrete slab with wiring and pipes in the area.
Insulated plasterboard will be going in within the next week or two.

Should the cavity be filled with insulation?

    Thanks

No need. A lot of people going with standard slab not even insulated slab and no insulation below precast floor. You will be grand. It's the insulation in the attic is the big one.
