can't find wifi driver HELP!!!!!

bought a dell xps l502x off ebay €242 bargain

i7
8gb ram
750hd

but it was running ubuntu , so i installed windows 7 ultimate over it , running great etc but i cant for the life of me find the broadband/wifi driver

so im using my xps l501x to try find drivers , ive installed numerous drivers but must be wrong

i know the card works because i installed a non activated copy of windows first and it detected networks but no it wont with full win 7 installation

Should be able to use this link to find it (use a wired connection on the laptop or another machine to get the file and transfer across).

forgot to mention that I tried the dell site and can't find one either

Ah, ok.

Go to device manager and right click on the device. Go to properties. There should be a drop down for device number. It might be hidden in a long string with DEV and VEN in there with four digits after each.

With those four digits, go to http://pcidatabase.com/

and put them in the search boxes. Should come up in the list.
