Need to kill the pace of this, they'll gift us a goal regardless.

Agreed, looks like we've started to do that!

Why are we pressing so high?? Liverpool are just walking past us.
Can't help but feel Wenger has got this wrong.

Would rather we tighten up and try and counter.

Lads i've been saying it for many months now but our defence is rubbish.
Slipping and messing and not closing down and their thinking is 2 seconds behind Liverpool's.
    Accident waiting to happen.
Midfield poor tonight too, Flamini too slow and Ramsey poor apart from the goal. Giroud not pressing the defenders and Walcott poor again tonight.
    .
This is a poor Liverpool and we're making them look good.
We need to come out and press in the second-half.

Wouldn't be so bad if it finished this way. City drawing home to Everton after 50.

could be even better but could be worse.

but rather than being worried I'm viewing the next 45 minutes as an opportunity

A couple of years ago you'd be wishing we could not do the second half and just take the point

Wouldn't blame the defence as such, too much chasing everywhere.

Not happy with Wenger at all tonight. Wouldve been happy with a slow first half, we've been all over the place tactically and physically, hopefully we've plenty left.

Taking off my red and white tinted spectacles for a second, what a great game of football. Some of the passing from BOTH sides has been exceptional.

Nah, Liverpool have torn through teams in big games recently.

Can't expect to win this one without a fight on your hands. They played great for a while in the first half, loads of reverse passes, backheels, getting the ball off in an instant.

They're making themselves look good. We're sticking in there in a tough away match.

Agree with the first paragraph, not so much the 2nd. The players have got sucked in by the pace and pressure Liverpool brought. It's the natural instinct of an Arsenal player to see space, run to it, and take the pass at pace. Not so sure this was Wenger's plan. We'll find out in about 10 minutes what the plan actually is.

COYG. This is a winnable game FFS!

Teams tear through you when you allow them.

Well, to a degree but you can't stop everything.

It's disrespectful to say they shouldn't have a sniff.

OGs goal = another MO assist?

Why is Ramsey being allowed to bomb upfield. He's leaving us so exposed.

The problem is they have had far too many sniffs tonight.
    Still think we'll win though.

Notice how they haven't attacked as much down Walcott's side? There's a reason.

At least having Gibbs and the Ox on will help us on the break. Expect us to be defending most of the rest of this match.
