Gift tax definition of child

Perhaps a stupid question. Is reference to children when mentioned in regard to thresholds include adult children? I assume it does but i am one of these people who frets over these issues!

Yes it includes adult children. If the person was legally their parent then they are counted as that persons child, no matter the age.
