    Not specifically for cycling, but if I know I will be working hard physically or won't have a chance to eat lunch, I mash a banana in a bowl until smooth, add three eggs and beat as you would for prepping scrambled eggs. Add in oats to thicken and cook as you would with an omelette. Optional maple syrup/honey once cooked.

    Tastes great and keeps you full for hours.

    Coffee is generally considered to be a diuretic, so not a great choice for hydration before a long spin. While there's plenty of discussion on this, I personally wouldn't go near coffee before a long spin.
