Up to the RDS today for the BT Young Scientist exhibition. A great showing from schools around the country, with many showing Agri. based projects. Electronic PTO cut off devices, bale wrap experiments, farm safety projects, Japanese knotweed projects, sycamore seed poisoning in horses, methane from slurry and also cannulated cows, etc. Two lads discovered that you can reduce the "hardnes" of water by 80% by passing it through a column of polystyrene beads . Gonna try that one at home here.
I think its the first time I was in the RDS since the Spring Show ended.
Looked for the stand selling Britians toy tractors inside the main doors, but no joy!

Well worth a visit next year.

We're all going to be exhausted by the end of April with IFA & General Elections.
Very inconsiderate of the IFA to run in April while the General Elections are also taking place ;)

April was the most popular mth coming back from Co execs. general opinion was to avoid Feb, march and may. Our county was of the same opinion.

Enquired the other day to be told it's "well on" and "won't be long now". Man of few words. No such thing as another week or 10 days :D

Going to treat myself this evening with a trip to the cinema to see the Hateful Eight. I haven't seen a flick on the big screen for a couple of years.

Last film I saw must be 7 or 8 years ago. Man that used to live locally was in it and some of it filmed locally. It about lad involved in what he would of called 'the struggle' in Northern Ireland. Only bit I remember is the group of us there reckoned the IRA stood for the Irish Riding Army :)

I enjoyed it but my ass went numb sitting for so long. I think you either like Tarantino films or hate them.
I read some of the reviews of which the majority were negative but I wouldn't agree with them. I always find that hyped up popular films turn out to be a disappointment.
