I received my bachelors degree last year and I got a job straight afterwards from someone I know. But if I were to go for a job interview in another place, what exactly do I show them to prove that I have a degree? All I have is the big Latin scroll that they gave me during my graduation...how does this work?

The one and only time I was asked for proof of my degree I just submitted my transcript. They were happy with that. I'm sure the records office at your college would give you a letter saying what degree you had and when you were conferred if that wasn't enough.

If a company requires proof its usually your transcripts they look for. Most universities will send you out a number of copies for a fee. The details of how to get them can probably be found on a the college website or from the exams office in the college.

A lot of places just take your word for it though, as most people won't make up a degree on their CV!

You can get a graduate statement too which will show your degree title, result, date of conferring. Exams records office will provide that. Last time I asked for it, I wasn't charged. Just emailed a PDF of it.
