We do seem to be on the end of some awful calls...

Probably the most promising thing is that every player had a pretty decent game. The Ox grew into the game, was unlucky not to score, and hit a superb ball out to Bellerin for the second.

    Roll on Wednesday.

Michael Oliver for me, rarely makes a mistake. Gave a massive referees performance during our cup game against United last year.

Our entire game changed when Ramsey came on. Just shows how important he is to the team.

One of the worst refereeing performances I can remember for a long time & it shouldn't be swept under the carpet just because we won.

Bellerin MotM but it's delightful to see how much Campbell is progressing as the games go on.

    Bellerin is only 20 ffs

Goes to show how quickly things can change. For the first 70 minutes, I actually thought Bellerin was average at best, and Gibbs was definitely out-performing him. Two moments of magic, and that's all that you will remember when you look back on the match.

I think Ramsey is much the same. Often he can perform below his best, but he can produce those moments that make the difference.

    Ramsey and arteta came on.

    Bellerin changed the game.

Should we go with arteta/Ramsey on Wednesday

We could do with artetas passing in midfield esp against the high press

Is Flamini not a bit more mobile or is he injured?

Yikes, thought The Pool was at the weekend.

Should be a good game, although really we should be comfortable (not saying we will, but we should).

Flamini have the better legs alright

Think I would rather the passing though

It depends on how Wenger plans for the night.
Sit back and hit on the break then it's Flamini i'd say.
Go out and attack and Arteta's passing might count.

Haha I would have reversed that if its me

I put it that way as I think Flamini is a better tackler and can cover more ground ahead of the back four.

Seriously what a dive at Old Trafford.

Just won a game without Ozil and Sanchez and some bench players did well, and this place is like a graveyard... If we lost, there'd be pages of angst! Didn't see any of the game apart from Joel's opener, so looking forward to BBC later on!

Nobody has anything to complain about.
It's always like that when we win. :D

Defintely a good win under the circumstances. Also great to see the Ox get more playing time. Think he'll come out of his existing slump he's going through at the moment with more game time. Think I read somewhere that in the last 3 years the most games he's played in a row was only 5. I know he played in the center today but the fitness and with it, the accuracy should be returning.

Ramsey was never at his best after he grew that beard. Now that it's gone he might find his feet again. :pac:
