Peugeot 407 1.6HDi fuel filter

My brother as asked me to replace the fuel filter on his Pug 407 1.6HDi (2006). Does anyone know if this car would have a primer bulb to prime the system after the new filter is installed? My brother is not mechanically minded and the top of the engine is beneath its plastic cover which he is very reluctant to disturb in…

My brother is not mechanically minded and the top of the engine is beneath its plastic cover which he is very reluctant to disturb in case he causes problems, so he therefore has no way of visually confirming this. Any advice on this would be appreciated!

There is a primer just under the engine cover, at the rear of the engine

I would also pre-fill the filter with diesel
