Hi quick question my hkc alarm is not in an active mode i.e (is not switched on).When the power went off in the area ,which occurred several times in the last few months ,the alarm went off and I could not switch it off.Tried my alarm code it would no switch off had to wait 10mins for it to go off. I have the engineers…

I have the engineers code , the alarm is in for about 7 years. Any idea how I might switch it off when power goes off?.I have not replaced the battery since it was installed.

I'd say a new battery should sort it.
The battery you should get is 12volt dc 7amp.
