Or for free https://www.betternet.co/ can't say anymore than I've given them a try and for my low bandwidth needs they are fine.

What's the point if you can't pick your location ?

Depends why you want a VPN in the first place. I use one just to get to torrent sites and I don't need to pick a location for that.

If you want to pick a location so you can stream video then chances are any service that provides enough bandwidth for you wants paying for the service.

On th old netbook I use for downloading I find Freedome uses to many resources and on a slow connection is really slow to make a connection which it often drops so have gone over to betternet because its quicker and is less resource hungry.

Anyone get an email from Freedome today staring that their trial would end if you did not purchase F-Safe?

    I received the following:

Hello, do you want to continue using F-Secure Freedome VPN for free?
You are currently using Freedome VPN for free as a trial user for F-Secure SAFE. To continue using Freedome VPN you should purchase a subscription for F-Secure SAFE.
    F-Secure SAFE
Log in to My SAFE to continue your subscription and keep using F-Secure Freedome

I signed up for a three year free sub btw

    Update on this...

So, it appears that my free three year subscription of 900+ days has now been reduced to 3 :(

I did not update it when prompted on my devices or re-install at any point

Was good while it lasted I suppose....

Just noticed mines now down to 5 from 1000+ no big deal as I'd stopped using it as it was just too resource hungry on the low powered netbook I had been using it on.

Edit> Just checked on another machine and same again its down from 1000 to 4 days.

I know some of us got a good length of "trial" period but F-Secure are hardly likely to be converting many free customers over to paid ones with those tactics.
