Settle a bet please. A provisional licence holder issued before August 2014 has 4 points. Do they have the 12 point limit before disqualification? Anybody know or is it an urban legend that the old 12 points before disqualification rule applies to those who were issued a learner permit in say 2007.

They are subject to 12 points and continue to be so after they've passed their test

Hi, thanks for the reply was answered over in the legal discussion forum last night. Not an urban legend after all. 12 points even if test passed as was in the system before new rules came in
