No, not once has that temptation happened for me.

Ever tempted to get a tattoo?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yeah I was tempted. My cousin had a tatt on her ankle that I loved. Dec 08. I tried convince my BFF at the time to come get it done with me. He had a few but I had none. So, he's saying - Lexie, chill out. If you still want a tattoo in a few months, me and you will go get one then. Too chicken to go solo, I waited.
I went home for Xmas that year, smashed 3 bones in my ankle and had a dislocation. Off I go to a and e, still drunk and crying so much I was snotting bubbles. In between tears I ask the nurse "when are they putting the cast on so as I can go home?" And she tells me "sweetheart, you won't be going home. You need an operation".
So, had I got the tattoo I wanted, in the place I wanted - less than 2 weeks later, I had the exact same place sliced open.
It really terrified me and put me off tattoos. Imagine having your ink cut through and ruined?!

Are you good with short version of events

I gave the guitar a bash during my teenager years. Sucked at it so I gave up.
Did you have any problems with your wisdom teeth?

I had to get one removed a few years back. Thankfully it only took a few minutes. Not the horror stories you usually hear.

I'd love to experience living in a different country, but I doubt it is very feasible for me.

Would you live in a non-English speaking country?

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
