2-0 to us Southampton are poor this year and our defence has been super the last few games I fancy a 2-0 win here anyway

Right lads Southampton away tomorrow night!

Southampton haven't had a win since Nov 7 and have been very poor at home. I can see us winning 3-1 with us scoring the twice and then have a nervy 2-1 last 10mins before be bag another.

Any win with no injuries and we move on.

Wonder will he be tempered to make s Change

I hope he don't and waits for the home games to give a few a rest

Hopefully thats the plan. Theres only really 2 or 3 changes that he can make. Ox for Joel, Gibbs for Monreal, Gabriel for Mert. Maybe Chambers for Bellerin?

The sooner players are back the better!

    None of that messing!

These 3 points are as important as any other, can't take any chances.

I think we'll win tomorrow but we will have to be focused and not take them for granted.

Made a mistake regarding our record against them earlier.

Mail,Mirror,Swiss papers and a few reliables on Twitter saying we have signed DM Elneny from Basel. Anyone know if he is any good? Nice to see business done early.

    Piece on him here http://paininthearsenal.com/2015/12/23/arsenal-have-found-sly-midfield-solution-in-mohamed-elneny/

Seems decent enough and is still young enough to get even better.

I'm living in Basel and go to a few games. He has been decent enough anytime I saw him, never stand-out but solid and definitely potential there

Petr Cech on Football Focus now.

I still can't believe he plays for us. What a keeper.

They are a pale shadow of the great United teams of the past.
They will need more than a new manager to fix this.

They are awful at the moment! Is crazy how small their squad and how average it appears to be, with all the money they have spent recently!

Can't wait for the match later. I reckon we could send out a serious message today. Beat City at home, then give a serious beating to the next middle of the road team we play.

But I'll take 0-1, with a sh*tty own goal and zero shots on target if you offer it to me.

Of course that particular outcome is impossible, because it would mean a game with no assist for Ozil, which is less likley than me winning the lotto without having bought a ticket.

I don't fancy Leicester to get 3 points today.

Now that's the type of negativity I like too hear!

Haven't a clue who your man is but we could do with a body in midfield and he's supposed to be defensive minded

I would prefer the finished article though and not a gamble.
Failing that we'll have to except what we get.

The best players are pulled from mediocre clubs most of the time I'd trust Wenger to make the right call many supposed finished article signings fail. Every signing is a gamble

I don't mind if Leicester beat Pool at all.
We have them at home and 3 points would put us on top, that's if they are still there by then.

I'd say Wenger thinks Le Coq is his starter now having proved his consistent ability over the past year so this new guy is the backup with the ability to improve and challenge.

Everyone would love a 20m+ signing sure but this signing probably means your more likely to get a bigger signing elsewhere on the pitch (though yeah thats more likely to be in the Summer).

Don't care about anything except us getting 3 pts today.

Could be an ideal signing, cost effective, under the radar, leaves money in the kitty for silent Stan. Nice!
