I'd be more concerned of what's left of the front number plate is that original :pac:

Looks like a tidy car you wouldn't think it was 15 years old at all.

    :)

There was a poster here years ago that had an Escort, he passed away young in life.

If he was here now he'd appreciate that car.

I was driving along the R434 in Laois yesterday at around 4pm. It was raining, very wet, and dark. Road conditions were poor. Quite a lot of flooding.

In front of me was a '92 Volvo 440. The tail lights on the car worked..... but the brake lights didn't! So when the car braked, nothing fupping happened to indicate that they were slowing down.

That's worse than the usual peugeot 206 with the brake lights stuck on where at least you know they're fecked!

The amount of taxis I've seen driving around in darkness with just theyre sidelights on is ridiculous. You just know they're "saving the bulbs for the NCT"

Santa got me an iWant Bluetooth speaker that has better sound than the stereo in the van and it works as a hands free kit. I'm actually gonna use it as my main sound system on the road now :P

Isn't the same radio used in the 207, 308 etc you'd be sick if the sound quality was that bad in them. I recently figured out how to get my radio to store mobile numbers just to make handsfree calls quicker. The whole system is kind of wasted on me as I don't make calls that often in the car but I suppose if I didn't have some kind of a handsfree kit I'd miss it.

Wow, a brand new car as a Christmas present. I wonder, is she the only child, or other siblings got much smaller presents?

I'd be over the moon to get a non runner K11 Micra.

I know of a girl a good few years ago that got a brand new diesel mk5 golf for her 21st but it was kind of a thing she went on about from a young age oh mammy and daddy you will buy me a new car for my 21st. I think the car is still in the family not driven by her anymore. She said she regretted asking for it after as it was too stressful to mind it and stop it getting scratched. I don't know of anyone else that has gotten a brand new car but know of lads that got parents old cars that were still worth substantial money one even worth 20k plus euro.

I sold a few yariss back in the day that were 18th or 21st pressies.
Unless this girl beat cancer or did something extraordinary it seems a bit vulgar getting the salesman to open on the one day of the year that consumerism loses out on (after a massive build up)

I'd say they just left it like that yesterday outside and let the parents and daughter to see it today I doubt there was anyone there in the garage although maybe there was depends how desperate they were for the sale and whether seeing it today would be a deal breaker.

Surely they paid extra to have the dealership to be open.

Pretty much what I thought, a bit cockey or something, asking the dealer to open Christmas day to pick up your new Fiesta. It' not like it's a pink Aventador and they have a properly tasteless amount of money or anything.

They could have let the salesman have that single day with his family and parked it around the corner last night.
