    71ac: Precocious
    69dn: Ice (Novice, without Nov)
60dn: Ale (imp [devil]+ale] EDIT:Actually probably should be 'Imp' instead

    48 ac: Athens
59 ac: This must be 'lipid'. Pi is the constant and is within 'Lid' (a top). Lipid is a fat. It means that the 'T' you have inserted is incorrect.
65 ac: Laptop ('apt', appropriate, is within 'lop', a cut)
36dn: Think it's gopher (Gopher, Grand old party, President Bush Snr + Jnr supported by ' her'. A gopher is a burrowing animal)

12 ac: Cow (Moscow, a capital. Cows 'low'. Taking 50% off Moscow leaves you with 'cow')
31 ac: Agra (Vi [= 3 Roman couples] taken off Viagra leaves Agra, a city in India]
32 ac: Looks like 'allies' but can't quite see it-> lies = lying down, to be prone. Not seeing how 'Al' refers to a student, however. EDIT: Now I see it- L-plate is for a learner driver! A L = a student :)
66 dn: Arch (Larch, a tree, with the top-letter removed)
