Android Remote Control app for Fire Stick incompatible

    I've an Amazon Fire Stick and want to use the Amazon Android remote control app

    On the play store it says it's incompatible with all my devices - even though my phone for example meets the Android version requirements

    Does anyone else on here have the Fire Stick and been able to install the app, or is it just me?

    My guess is the app is Geo-locked to Amazon Video regions

    I sideloaded it from I'm sure a less than reputable site and didn't find it great to be honest. The bundled remote works better.

    It is geo-locked on the play store
