Does anyone know if I can use an 11 speed front derailleur with a 10 speed front shifter? Sram rival by the way.

Should be fine. The shifting at the front is still just one cog to another. The 11s teeth are probably just a tiny tad thinner to a 10s to better suit an 11s chain.

From reading here and elsewhere the front 10s/11s mash ups are never an issue, it only really matters for the rear RD

I don't know if this has any relevance to your situation, but I have a bike set up with Sram 10 speed shifters and front mech paired with Sram 11 speed crankset and chain. I have also used the same set up with a 10 speed chain.
Bike shifts perfectly in both cases.
