Can a new Satellite be added to the list on this box? With the Uktv channels on Eurobird 28.5 E, I am not picking them up on the Astra 28.2 scan.
    Can anybody help ?

Just do a single transponder (tp) scan: click on the 'Video Guides' tab on this page, & scroll down to 'How To Manually Tune in a Satellite Channel'.

The tp parameters are 12129 MHz, V polarity, & symbol rate 27500.

Tried that allready. The three programs show up, (Drama, Really and Yesterday), but there is no signal strength or quality. I think I somehow need to change the Sat,(Astra 28.2).
Will try again at week-end, as the box is in West Cork.
    Thanks.

Got it sorted. Not 100% sure how, but I managed to locate Eurobird 1(28.5)
    Thanks

Eurobird 1, latterly renamed Eutelsat 28A, hasn't been at the 28 east position for some time now. (It's probably now Eutelsat 31A, at 31 degrees east.)

The receiver should only be interested in the satellite position you're working with, not whatever the satellite happens to be called.

Heres an upto date listing for just the FTA channels, you will need to add the rte terrestrial and move for your area. If the link doesnt work send me a pm with your email address and I will send to you.
