    Healy has been terrible.

Lovely maul from Toulon. Remember when Irish teams could do that...

    Wouldn't blame fatigue.

Madigan's passing has just gone to absolute pieces this year. I really don't see how he's interesting Bordeaux.

What do they do in training? This is amateur

Why would you let that ball bounce? Looked like Isa was able to get to if he really went for it.

This is going to be just like last week's second half. Just ground down.

The ball has barely spent a minute in Toulon's half in the second half.

Armitage came away from that too early, a bit more patience and they would have been over again.

This has been a heroic performance from Leinster. I would never have expected them to be just 1 point adrift against Toulon with 10 mins to go. When you consider that all they had to play for was pride, the effort they gave was monumental. Good sign of things to come this season.

Still can't understand Barnes not seeing the binding on healys shoulder/arm. From 3 yards ffs.

Teams under pressure usually concede more penalties. I wouldn't blame Barnes for Leinster conceding more in this half. Toulon have really ramped it up.
1 to 8 toulon are stronger.

About time Moore won something at the scrum, he's been dominant all day.

Too busy missing forward passes to do that.

Commentators won't shut up about power and fatigue but really its just a dominant set piece and good, accurate execution making the difference.

Maybe in the first half, not so much the second.

    Ho hum. Same old story.

Really hope Leinster can sort out their attacking structure this season. Try rate has been abysmal this year.

And now for the bonus point try.

Every single lineout is a Toulon penalty, and every single one of them a correct call. Absolutely dreadful.

    hmmmmm

Every single lineout the same failed tactic to stop the maul. Would we not try standing off it at least once or something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,050 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

    inevitable

Toulon are showing how poorly drilled we are.

I mentioned on another forum that I was staying at the same hotel as the Toulon team and they were all there in the lobby lounging before the match...looking relaxed, focused and feckin big....serious power perched there on the couches. I didn't fancy leinsters chances much tbh..
