Bank of Ireland lodging cheques

    Hi,

    I lodged two cheques to my bank of Ireland account, one was an aib cheque and the second a bank of Ireland cheque, both are showing balances online. How long will it take for these funds to be available assuming there will be a longer time frame for the aib cheque

    Hi Omnia, 

    Thank you for contacting us on Boards. 

    A Bank of Ireland cheque will take three working days to clear on your account while a non BOI domestic cheque will take five working days to clear on your account. You will be able to view your available funds on 365 Online as well as the total including the amount of the cheques before they clear.
