    Too easy! :)

I'm running out of questions that aren't easily googled.

Oi!! I didn't google that, or any of the others. If I don't know I just guess or don't answer. I think everyone else has been doing the same!

Sorry, I didn't mean to suggest you did. :o I meant I try to post questions that don't lend themselves to googling.

Yeah, well that's me, not the mod! :D

Anyway I need a question, come to think of it, hang on...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,758 ✭✭✭✭looksee

Ok, on the subject of kangaroos, what is the gestation period of a kangaroo? (ie, not including the time it is in the pouch).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32,688 ✭✭✭✭ytpe2r5bxkn0c1

Based on it being nothing more than an embryo that crawls to the pouch and on the size of the animal I'd make a pure guess of 6 weeks.

I think you would want to be a bit nearer than that...not bad though!

OK, just to revive the thread, 5 weeks.

What have Belgium, Chad, Ireland and Mali in common?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,758 ✭✭✭✭looksee

I suspect they have similarish flags, though can't be any more specific.

I think there is only us chickens here Srameen!

Oh, you'd have to be more specific to meet my exacting standards. ;)

Yes, very quite. Has the bad weather wiped out the weaker among us? I love nature's ways!

Well there's little old me still hanging round in between Christmas preparations. I'm just being very quiet as an observer as I don't know any answers. :(

I'm glad this quiz is easier. I'd hate to have to try the harder one. Any chance of a clue? I presume it is something to do with flags or is that just a red herring?

What have Belgium, Chad, Ireland and Mali in common?

Would France and Italy also have the same thing in common?

    Stop teasing me.

Come on now. Never mind what the colours are. What's common to those uppy downy stripey thingies?

You have to say it. I'm going to make you say it.

There is just a teeny bit of revenge going on here, isn't there?:D

Ok, we know which way the Irish ones go, and I happened to know that the Chad one was the same (I have no idea why I know anything about the Chad flag). With the introduction of the French and Italian flags we can assume that the others have three equal stripes (two up and one down :p)

I always thought it was one up and two down but, yes, all tricolours.

    Whew!!!! I'm glad that's over.

    Time for a lie down.

Something that was originally called a 'hookless fastener' is now more familiar as what?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32,688 ✭✭✭✭ytpe2r5bxkn0c1

    A zip?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,758 ✭✭✭✭looksee

Hm, that was too easy! Yes you have it!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32,688 ✭✭✭✭ytpe2r5bxkn0c1
