Xiaoimi Redmi - ROM flash - Keep getting Corrupt zip file error

    Hi All

    I have d/l an updated ROM for Xiaomi Redmi 2, renamed the file to update.zip and moved it to the root of the sd card. I have tried to run it using the "updater" app and also by restarting and entering the bios. Each time I get a corrupt zip file error. So I decided to d/l another version of the file from another website but again, I get the corrupt zip file error.

    Any ideas what might be wrong and how I might resolve it/

    I had the same problem and I got around it by installing TWRP and installing the new ROM from it.
