Sky advice please - any better deal?

    I don't have Shy so just looking for a bit of advice for my mum. She currently has Sky Variety with Sky Sports package and is paying €77/month. She has never really queried her package or looked for a better deal off them.
    Is there a better deal available - I am authorised on her account to talk with sky and was thinking of ringing to say she is cancelling and see will they offer any better? Sky sports is essential, she loves golf, snooker etc. so its not an option to cancel this part of the package.

    You can threaten them to leave, they will offer you a better deal, I left in feb and keep getting emails and calls about going back to them, latest just now, to return for half price for 12 months. If you contact them ask them to make you a new offer, say about €45-€50
