It's Friday, will you be drunk later? I don't mean are you going out/staying-in with the express intent of getting p!ssed, but realistically will you be? And if so what will you be doing while drinking?

I will be drunk at some stage. Going catching up on some shows from the week (Peep Show first!) and who know where the night will take me. Probably to bed.

Before someone asks ("Do you mean 6 cans?" etc) we all what the definition of drunk is. It varies from person to person but you know what I mean.

    No

As an alternative to getting drunk, you could give me the money to flush down the toilet and in the process save your liver from further damage !

Or I could just keep the money ;)

Well I've worked pretty hard all week and want a nice relaxing night. I'm going on a hot date ( ) tomorrow night and will probably need to put in a few hours of work on Sunday, so why shouldn't I have a few this evening to look forward to?

I don't know anything about Peep Show other than somebody on my facebook who watches and comments on the massive amount of film and tv he watches says that this weeks episode was the worst one ever .

    maybe get drunk first....

I'll probably have a beer or two, but won't be getting drunk.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

This saddens me (though the season has been hit and miss). I'm downgrading my choice to a cheaper beer in response.

Will partake in a couple of glasses of a yummy red and finish Jessica Jones on Netflix while wearing my fluffy pyjamas.

    I now feel ridiculously old.

What type of non-drinker? She said she doesn't drink anymore. You're totally projecting whatever issues you have with drink.

    No,

Although we are going out tonight (very rare lately) to catch up with some friends over dinner and a few drinks, I am choosing not to drink so I can drive us there, and drive us home again afterwards.

    I'm a lazy fecker

No. I will be working late by the looks of it and then will go home to watch Gogglebox and First Dates.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,389 ✭✭✭NachoBusiness

Not really. Just a few ales at the Happy Mondays perhaps.

Work party. Black Tie. 15 miles outside the City centre so inconvenient to get to.
Zero interest in going but then I would be the only one not there. Show the face etc etc.

Not drinking so bringing the car. I like the idea of having the option to leave whenever I want.
And not having to wait for taxi/the organised bus back at 2am.

Plan to leave at 11pm and have a glass (or two!) of wine at home instead :)

Don't worry about me, I have a nice Baileys waiting for when I finish work. Couldn't care less whether someone else drinks or not, what's it to me?
