Hi folks. Anyone have any good tricks for cleaning a filter coffee machine? Thinking of running a solution of water and vinegar through to see if it does any good

Smurf, not too sure if this addresses the question, but all I have ever used is descaling tablets. Run one through and then I tend to do a couple of runs with water.
    Conor.

In France we can buy sachets of descaler for filter coffee machines, maybe if you had a look in one of the bigger Tescos?
