PRD refund query

    sorry to dig up an old thread but can't find an answer to my query

    I have a similar issue of have to chase for a PRD refund. It states here http://www.cspensions.gov.ie/faq5.pdf that if I join the public service later on i have to give this money back again. Does that mean that if i join the public service again in let's say 5 years I have to pay this back?

    Only if you want it to be part of your pension,been in and out of civil service with refund and not once was I asked to pay it back.
