Most useless item in your wallet/purse

I'm 30 years old, no longer live in Ireland and yet I have a Garda Age Card in my wallet. Usually I try and keep it somewhat tidy but I'm kinda amazed I've never questioned why I still carry that bloody thing until now! I think I might retire it to the box of documents (which also contains some fake IDs I used when I was underage, you never know when they could come in handy...).

So what's the most useless item you carry around daily in your wallet or purse?

Cheque to me for €5 from about 3years ago that I forgot to cash.
Also swiss army style fork/ knife/ spoon set that I got from aldi a year and a half ago and used once. Not only do I never have the opportunity to use it, but if I did have the circumstance, I probably wouldn't as it could hardly be too hygienic sitting at the bottom of my bag for so long...

Receipts for things bought over 12 months ago. No reason for it. Just makes my purse a bit fatter giving the illusion that there is cash in it. (real reason is im too lazy to clean it out)

Until I cleared out my purse a little while ago, I had all sorts of rubbish in there. My English provisional driver's license, a half-stamped card for an English coffee shop. A number of thoroughly expired bus receipts. Coppers. Actually, I still have coppers in there, 1c and 2c coins really are useless - I tend to use a batch of them in the self-service Tesco machines every so often to pay the odd amount of a bill, like E32.17, I'll shove in 17c worth of coppers just to be rid of them. I'm sure it upsets the people behind me, but it actually doesn't take long. Shall be glad to be rid of the dratted things.

Edit: I moved back to Ireland in September 2014, so that coffee card really was pointless!

Don't forget to buy her a matching purse to put it in.

If I get an XXL condom it could double up as a purse.

    Man, condoms are versatile!

I'm wearing one on my head at the moment as a hipster beanie

I've just had another look in the wallet. I have this small smiley face bit of cardboard with a Columbian girls name and number on it. It's been there about 13 years now.

I still have 2 Cypriot pounds in my wallet from a holiday in Cyprus in 2001. No idea why they have lasted that long in there.

Multiples of those coffee shop stamped loyalty card thingies. None of them have enough stamps for a free coffee. A $1 bill. A cash-out slip from a casino in Vegas worth 0.15c.

And a valium! I had no idea that was there until now. Score. :D

Oh I have a Dublin bikes card. Last year at the Dublin marathon I hired a Dublin bike to go cycling around the marathon. Thought "oh my god these bikes are brilliant I should totally have a card and use these every time I'm in town".

Yeh. Never been on one since.

Old Xtravision membership card. Mainly because I wasn't an Xtravision member at the time, but my friend worked there and just made one up for me with Dr. in front of my name to help me impress women.

    Didn't work.

    My wife's left hand.

Just out of interest is it stuffed or did you get it lacquered or varnished?
