Settings, scroll down to personal, click on 'fingerprint', follow instructions.

As for three UK, you may need to contact three themselves about that. I presume you pay for 'three like home'. Alternatively, you could get another Sim card from the UK.

Yes I've done that to setup the fingerprint. but I cannot enable fingerprint unlock under security.

As for the sim card yes i'm a prepay customer and have three like home. this wouldn't matter however as my problem is it does not even give me the option of selecting Three UK as a network. i get o2 uk, EE, vodafone etc. etc. but not ThreeUK.

No i can't get anotehr sim from the uk as i need my irish number. second slot is used for work phone.

need to figure out how to get two whatsapp/viber accounts working on it too!

What I did re the fingerprint was go to the fingerprint area, set up one thumb, then it worked. I added the other few fingers I might use occasionally depending on where the phone is in relation to me.

As for the security, my settings are as follows.

    Screen Lock - Pattern
    Make Pattern Visable - On
    Enable Fingerprint - On
    Auto lock - 5 seconds
    Power Button locks - On

Try to match those and see if it works.

It's possible you didn't set up a good enough fingerprint so try to delete the one you've done and do another using all parts of the fingerprint, turning the phone left to right also.

You need to set either pin or pattern for the finger print to work.

An app called Disa in the play store should allow you to have two WhatsApp accounts (although no calls)

The OnePlus2 is a good phone but I have a couple of gripes with it.

    1. it is heavier than comparable phones. Had the Nexus 5X in my hand the other day it is feather weight in comparison.

    2. I'd prefer if the volume up down were on LHS.

    3. not sure if this is the phone or the network (3) but I have it set to LTE preferred and I seemingly always have to find and force it onto LTE. If someone knows a way around this I'd love to hear it. I do it prob 6 or 7 times daily. Far too often I end up on the poxy O2 network with a roaming icon showing.

    4. this is an Android problem I believe but to get to network selection (see 3 above) it takes so so many click thrus. Again if someone knows a shortcut to get me onto LTE network please help!.

    Nexus5X is 136g!!!.

I had the Nexus 5 before the oneplus2 and it was 130g.

If I'd known how much heavier oneplus2 was I'd prob have passed on it.

Why? Nothing wrong with a more heavily phone

    I like the extra weight.

Not for me. I'd got used to the phone being only 130g so disappointed in the extra in the OnePlus2. Each to their own.

    I got this one

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013PDTKV8?tag=digitren08-20

It covers the volume up down buttons and power on off which I like. Solid case too.

I've another case that does not cover the buttons mentioned above which is a really really nice case but I wanted the buttons covered ultimately. Can't remember the name of it or where I bought it online for the life of me but if you were interested in having a look I could PM you. It's a bit like the Orzly one but it is in a lovely light blueish color.

I wish I just kept the OPO. Not much of an upgrade.

Anyone else regret selling their OPO and getting the OP2?

I've got a OPO and the only thing I'm missing is dual sim which I really need at the moment, although might hold off based on what you say

I tried to put in an order and I'm getting an address problem. Must be an issue with their site. Worked perfect when I bought mine.

    Hi all,
I need some help with my OnePlus 2. I checked on all the posts on this thread and and there is reference to the problem I have but no resolution yet. I'm a "Three.ie" customer on PAYG every so often (a couple of times a day) the top left of my screen says o2. If i go into networks I can get it to re download the settings for three. but its a pain. does anyone have a permanent solution?
    Thanks
    Squig

I'm pretty sure someone else posted that in the last week so scan through the last few pages and maybe pm the poster to see if they were able to sort it out.
