Today in Wexford I got a box of McVitie's Family Circle for minus €8.10 as they were labelled €3.95 (save €4.05) but I was charged €8, so got double the difference! :pac:
€3.95 was a great price anyway.
Someone must have mis-applied the 2 for €10 offer that they should be part of

For -10 cent surely? As you originally paid €8, then got back €8.10 - so ten cent up and you got to keep the biscuits - still a v nice deal :)

Ah yes! Didn't feel like that as I paid with plastic, came out with €8.10 in cash and free box of biscuits, but of course I had given them €8 on the card!! Bit slow today, Christmas party last night...

They weren't very pleased as there was a stack of biscuits on the 2 for €10 stand at the front of the shop which I didn't see when I was there the first time. I picked them up in the biscuit aisle where the yellow sticker said €3.95, so I went back to take a photo when I came back to the shop to get my money back. Duty manager grudgingly told the customer service girl to give me back the difference but I pointed to the blue sign behind them that said double the difference!

    I got those Victoria biscuits.
    They accidentally got opened.
Gosh, they're boring, no? Just all shortcake and chocolate.
I also got McVitie's Moments as part of that offer and they look a bit nicer.

blue sign behind them that said double the difference!

The few times that I have realised I have been overcharged in recent years I have only got my money back..was told the double the difference offer was discontinued.

My local store has some sort of display hiding this board, I always point it out, it's not if you knw it's there you ask!

It's the very last point of their Our Promise blue sign behind customer service, the relevant point is called something like 'if things don't add up'. Someone on here mentioned before that the sign says that. The sign isn't easy to read as it's behind the customer services desk and as I said it's the last point on the sign, so I sidled up to the newspapers and glancing over the desk to check!

I wrote to Tescos to complain about not getting double, stating I had been told it had been ended - they sent me a moneycard for the difference.

Ditto, and they "retrained" the staff in the store as i made an official complaint. If you get overcharged, you get double the difference. They NEVER seem to do it unless challeneged though, and even then sometimes they still try and refuse it.
If they do, take note of the refusers name and contact customer service direct.
You are right, they are wrong and you will be proven so.

Does anyone know if the aldi/lidl 10e off coupons can be used on nappies? I know they can't on formula!

Can't see why not. The formula thing is an eu rule that you can't incentivise formula feeding

Its baby formula and not the growing up milk that the ban is on.
    Nappies are fine with vouchers.

I get mine from amazon every month. 64 pampers size 6 for about €12 .

Yes there is one for lidl on page 2 then another one for aldi further on don't have page number to hand but it's very small you'd nearly miss it, it's at bottom of a page with full page aldi advert :)

Thirst Pockets Extra-long Kitchen Towels are 3 for the price of 2 at the moment.

So now might be a good time to use the €1 voucher in the Tesco magazine.

    Tesco Mince Pies € 1.00
    Luxury Christmas Pudding € 2.00, 454g

Both are hiddin in my local Tesco. with no prices shown.

The 908g pudding is still €5

Seems like the local manager doesnt want people to buy at these prices

Christmas tree hanging decorations, 14c each and also 3 for 2, so three packs for 28c! (Mine didn't scan in the 3 for 2 offer so you can potentially get double the difference back also, making them nearly free) - In Tesco Mahon store, more than likely in all stores though.
