I wonder is his heart in it any more

I doubt that now tbf, the league is up for grabs, I'm sure he knows that.

He can look poor when the cover in front isn't great, Flamini is much looser than the Coq.

    30 seconds in boiled water...be grand ;)

I'm assuming he is celebrating a new arrival? What the hell did Bebeto start back in 94? These footballers don't half like to remind us they can get a woman pregnant.

Like the start of that old poem 'More Power said old Power when young Power was born.....'

I was half expecting Ramsey to do his celebration with the ball under his shirt again when both Giroud and Campbell made 'new arrival' celebrations :pac:

Let's hope not. It can't all be down to coq tho. Mert not moving up with the rest of the defence and things like that had nothing to do with no coq.

A player or two in January is an absolute must.

Hopefully Wenger has enough saved up from the summer

Campbell kind of reminds me of vela and can see him going the same route. Probably end up in Spain with a mid table club.

Actually vela has got something like 45 goals in 115 appearances for sociedad.

    Not too bad.

Campbell would be doing well to end up like Vela! Well capable of it though

We scouted neves again last night he seems to be a class player

Will Arsenal spend 30/40m on a player so young

    Campbell is still learning too.
What i like about him is his workrate. He tries very hard and his defensive side is much better than some of our players. Not afraid to get in the blocks either.
    I have hope for him.

Need a good experienced option to help shore up midfield for crucial title run-in?

Sign wonder kid with no English for 40 million.

    Very A Wenger.

I think this is a deal we should do, not an experienced option

This fella and coq can battle it out going forward

So we don't have Coquelin in January, and you want to buy in another player that won't be available to us in January.

So you want to effectively write off this season, which is our best chance at a league in ten years.

    Bizarre.

Do you think an 18 year old Portugese midfielder is gonna come over with no English and walk straight into the first team?

Yep I do this fella is good and is better than flamini

Speaking of Flamini, I don't know what was up with him yesterday. He seemed to bomb forward a lot more than the previous week, which is never good when you're alongside Ramsey.

Is it not simple to just stay in a holding position?

He is really a poor DM if we need to use him anywhere from now on it has to be a box to box player or a 10 :)

I can't understand why he has not been instructed not to bomb forward. He's being doing this more lately, probably because he scored 2 against Spurs.
The manager gives instructions and should have had this conversation with Flamini already. It's either no instruction or lack of discipline.

Flamini is saving the world he listens to no man

Can't say I remember Flamini doing much yesterday.

As was pointed out on match of the day for one Of Ramseys chances Flamini was just on the edge of the box, leaving nobody to cover midfield. Thats not good enough really, if hes gonna play the holding role he needs to do it properly. Coquelin rarely ventured into the box, Flamini should take a leaf out of his book.

So good to see Ozil finally performing the way everybody knew he could.
Great to watch when he's on his game..

Ain't it good that sense overlooked cesc

He would have been a short term solution but a long term problem

Reading somewhere today that Wilshere is hoping to be back for the city game

Cesc would have been used in a familiar role with us and I think would have settled back seamlessly imo.
Anyway we'll never know as it was not to be.

Kinda excited of the thought of Wilshere/Ramsey midfield combo. I think it will really work

Could be a car crash too though

Am currently watching my 5th premier league game of weekend (well had United game on TV but was obviously concentrating on our game on net) and even with all our injuries nobody challenging at the top looks any better than us.

Actually Stoke looked most impressive funnily enough.

Wilshere would be a good replacement for Santi. Has great close control and decent passing range.

He's played there for England and been MOTM each time.

I think the role will suit Jack.
Now if we could just get him to pass earlier and not lose the ball in the tackle and get injured doing it.

Means that Flamini keeps playing though.

Who else will play there if Wilshere is playing in Santis position?
