Still showing normal price online. Was this a pricing error at self service or at a till? Thanks

She said it was showing at 11.99 on the till in blanchardstown.

The earlier price of 7.99 was my receipt including a €5 voucher discount..... My mistake

    It comes with a blaster.
Makes no noise as far as I can see but kids have imaginations and at 11.99 its a better bargain than the original 18 €.

    €11.99 - €5 = €6.99..

No I haven't but I've ordered one today to hang a 48 inch Samsung, it says upto 56 inch so I can't see it being an issue if it's secured to the wall properly.

I have a cheetah one that I ordered from Amazon for €11 and I have an old 42 inch JVC led hanging from it and it's solid as a rock and that tv weighs a ton.

All bets are off with TV brackets in local stores. Amazon, vonhaus or the likes for a tenner is the only way to go. They are all more that good enough to hold the paperweight TVs of today, any size. Only thing you need to check is the VESA max on the bracket you are getting is within the dimensions for the TV mounting hole spacings. That's your only concern. Anyone that spends over 20quid on a non tilt/swivel these days needs their head examined.

couple of days ago i went to argos in waterford and for the first time i saw Ex-display Tv's on sale , there was 2 models , i bought Sony 43w755c Android tv for 340e and the only thing wrong with it was a broken piece of plastick from power plug . The other one was Panasonic 40 inch 4k tv dont remember model but price was 420 e . One of the biggest bargain i ever saw to be honest.

I would never buy one of them. They don't even turn them off at night. On 247 for months.

Well, if they don't, they are obliged to to so under H & S laws/regulations.

Perhaps they do turn them off in some stores, others definitely not.

Not true. In many stores, they are left on 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

When I worked there for two years!
I turned them off on my first night but the manager said he wanted them on all the time as lots of people windowed shopped.
He said they used turn them off and he was told by a lad from the UK sales would increase if they are on when closed. He said it worked.

As fascinating as this debate is.

Any chance we could get back to the bargains ;)

I have GTA V for the PS4 reserved in Argos (Jervis) for €40.79 which needs to be collected today by 7pm. It is currently being sold for €62.99 so the first to pm me with their email address gets it! I will email on the reservation email which you will need to show to Customer Services to get the sale price.
