That's probably worse than my one :pac:

Doesn't have the silver missing though!

Happened the parking sensor one in the father's old Mondeo after about 30k, they're really bad for it.

Aye, chipped a bit on the old radio before I took it out. Some people have theirs ruined altogether with chipping.

I'm no stig but I will try my best!

There's only 3 of us so you should get plenty of seat time!

    I'll be there.

    Hopefully.

Amazed it hasn't been cancelled from the storm. Only reason I'm still going is they already have my 70 euro.

You'd probably be better off with a canoe tomorrow lads

The drifting should be fun though, although don't think you could say the same about the show and shine

Have fun tomorrow lads, and ybfocus, you better get some good clips

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,428 ✭✭✭Dartz

I think we'll all be drifting anyway....

I've never had the RX on track. There isn't much interesting about it - it's one of dozens sold in 2006.

Now where the **** did I put that anti-death hat thing?

make sure and say hi either way and i just assumed you were taking it out on track as they apparently love the fast track work going by the reviews:cool:

    Didn't say I wouldn't be tracking it...

First time on track and the RX is going. (Was tempted to 'borrow' the Megane....)

Anyone been watching that show Leepu and Pitbull?

First car was nice enough, second car meh third car christ and I'd hate to be involved in a crash in it. Not that any of his cars ever have safety at the forefront of priorities.

Your man Leepu would give an aspirin a headache yet somehow I kinda enjoy watching it :o.

Leepu and Bernie you mean? Is that that show from waaaayyyyy back in the early 00's about that Bangladeshi nut job and the Bethnal Greene mechanic?

Same bangladeshi nut job but he's now in America. It's a new series same kinda thing except in the first two episodes they worked on old American muscle cars leepu designs where he goes to town on them and Pitbull doing engines, suspension brakes etc

RX8 did stellar service on its first trackday - even in the rain. Even if the whole ABS/stability control/TCS kept puking after a lap or two leaving it running 0h-natural. Also burned a half-litre of engine oil over the course of 100km...

    Heated seats were glorious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

You don't need heated seats when on a track. You get warm and sweaty from doing the laps.

...or is it just me? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,428 ✭✭✭Dartz

It's for the moment after you get into the car, after getting lashed to **** in the wind and rain.

On the plus side, at least the weather gave me an excuse for going so slow.

Stupid fúcking bitchés, If you dont know how to park a car dont leave your god damn house.
Some one scrapped their RED car along mine when they got out of their parking space, When I parked beside them we noted we had left loads of room for them as I wont park beside someone if I think there is a chance they have to squeeze in. Scrap along side of doors and chips out of the plastic door bumper.

pointless I would say, I will clean it up in the morning and see how damaged the paint is. Why did this have to happen the one month we have both Christmas and the Motor Tax. due?

Literally 20 mins ago so almost completely dark was coming up to a roundabout heavy rain sh!t enough visibility on the roundabout a lad on a bicycle black jacket and pants no high vis, no lights, no reflectors. I seen him fine but you had to be really looking it unreal what will do I mean a high vis jacket is what a euro and you can get them free of rsa a lot of the time. Loads of people with parking light on too madness in this weather but sure I suppose the cost of having dipped lights on.

Couldn't bring a car out with the floods that were on the roads. Luckily I got my hands on the pajero. The floods were up to the side step on that!

As you can see in the first picture, the steering material has ravaged over time, hence the silage tape. It's starting to get grubby in other places too. I can easily source another steering wheel, but is it a difficult task to replace one?
