Harvey Norman Laptop - ASUS Transformer Book

    Harvey Norman are doing the 10.1" ASUS Transformer Book T100TAF-DK024B for €199. It's a convertible tablet/laptop hybrid, good for web browsing and light tasks and usually above £199 on UK sites etc.

    Be warned though, Harvey Norman are advertising this as the higher spec T100TAM (Metal casing, higher spec processor) on their website and are not telling people that they are not getting the higher spec machine. I'd bought one one to collect from a store thinking it was the model advertised on the site and then when i went in i found out it wasn't. The refund will take 5-10 working days which is a pain too.

    I've been onto HN about this since Friday afternoon and they have said they'll be updating the site but so far they have not.

    So both a bargain if you're looking for the base spec machine and a warning.

    Thanks for that. I'll be keeping my eye on it and will buy one when they update the information.
    I would think that this would be good for the Mother as her first laptop (she's dabbling using my old iPad 2, and it's dead slow).
