You can usually bullsh1t your way to that Axa discount, say you walked or cycled or something and dont have any documents, I got €80 off a Boardman bike doing that once.

Anyone know can you use an Axa card on already discounted goods? There's an extra 10% off on bikes this weekend bu wondering if can get the axa 10 on top of that too?

I usually get the Axa 10% on top of any other discounts, no harm trying.

Thank you. Do they pay much heed to the name on the card? My dad has one I could use?

Looks pike it takes a small Nokia BL-5C battery, i.e. The ones in cheap / old nokia phones.

    nokia-5c-battery-2.jpg

Seen ones that take the same battery on aliexpress.

    Product Page:

This will give an idea of how small the device is:

Looks like a great buy, £99 in UK, €119 appears correct, great saving, ordered one Friday, won't be in store until end of next week, bought it as a pressie for a nephew :)

While this is a great price (especially if you are an Axa customer), it was never worth the previous £99 price tag though, considering Amazon are currently selling it for £33.33.

Still, great price - thanks OP - just reserved.

Never any issue in Halfords Blanchardstown getting the 10% or occasional 15% with AXAPlus scheme.

You have to either have your membership card or insurance cert with you though.

    Yeah but no.
you can plug a 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead from the headphone socket on the tv.
Don't expect amazing sound, but it should be better than tv speakers.

unlikely, unless you are talking about 10yo+ tv, or some exotic tesco/lidl brand

I honestly dont get why people are looking to connect speakers this tiny to a tv!

I doubt this speaker will be able to provide much of a better sound than internal tv speakers, its probably only 6 watts max!

You'd be much better off investing in a soundbar which is much more powerful, like the one for €50 coming up in Aldi.
