Transfer of entitlements to land abroad (within EU) ?

    Hello , i'm moving temproarily abroad and I plan on owning land there, can I transfer all my entitlements to my new land, as long as its within EU? How much land must you own to secure the entitlements ?

    Interesting question , I'd say you need to get a good ag advisor for something like that .

    Nah just read the "instructions". From the BPS booklet ... section on transfers says will operate from 2016 ie transfers and that they will occur "within" a Member State so OP answer to your question no you cannot transfer them out of Ireland.

    You can't transfer SFP between member states. I've tried.

    However there are some eu countries that don't see SFP as a personal asset and the payments are tied to the land. So enquire before you purchase.
