Not sure whether I should post in 'Menas's happy thread' or 'trivial things that make you happy thread'. :o

The alarm in my car keeps going off for no reason. At first I thought it was sticks being blown up the drive and that's what was setting it off. I came out of the petrol station yesterday and it was going off. So I've resorted to leaving it unlocked. At least I know it works, my last car didn't have a car alarm. Very fancy altogether, electric windows, an alarm AND power steering. :pac: That's another annoyance actually. I've nearly sprained my wrists badly twice because I've forgotten I don't need to pull on the steering wheel so much.

Your garage should be able to turn down the sensitivity of the alarm, make it less likely to go off. Unless of course there is a short in there somewhere.
We had the same problem but of course the stupid thing would only go off in the middle of the night.

Saturday is the day when I allow myself something nice; a chocolate bar or something along those lines.
I always enjoy these treats after a week of hitting the gym hard and eating healthily.

I don't go mad on Saturdays; I'm not sitting there from morning til night stuffing my gob, but the odd bar or bag of crisps is welcome.
    Well.

I bought a bag of Doritos to share with the other half, and a jar of salsa.
They've been sitting in the press since Wednesday and since then I've been salivating looking at them.
    But now?

Now I don't fancy them and I bet I will want them during the week.
So I'm TA'd that I don't want any sweets or treats today but that during the week the craving will hit me something terrible.

I am 100% convinced that I correctly set the UPC box to record The Late Late last night...but it is not there. Was really looking forward to it too!

Should be repeated tomorrow afternoon ? Though no good to you if you were looking forward to watching it tonight :(

Sweating to death on Thursday in work so I took off my jacket and my North Face zip up top and then put the jacket back on.
I stashed the top in behind a toolbox on a shelf... Was on a different job yesterday but back here today and my top is gone.
It's a temporary work site than loads of people have access to so I was a little naive to leave it there.... But still.

I haven't got any TA's really today but the other day when I was sorting my wardrobe, I was thinking of all the jackets and coats I've lost over the years.

I'd say I've lost about ten altogether but there are four that I specifically remember because I loved them. Two I know we're definitely robbed in a nightclub. Another one I left behind in a hotel and another one I left in a taxi. My friend found the jacket in the taxi because she was going on home in the cab but I lost touch with her shortly after that. How weird would it be to ring her and say "hey remember that jacket I left in a taxi five years ago, you wouldn't still have it by any chance?" :)

Not a TA as such, just thinking about the whole 'The old Fiat 500 were tiny' discussion a few pages back, Minis were minuscule too and nobody seems to remember that. :)

That's when cars used to fit between the white lines in carparks, the spaces haven got any wider in the last 20 odd years (have they?)but every car has.

Talked myself out of betting on Vardy to score against Man Utd today..... Fućk it anyway. €50 on a 6/1 would have been nice.

    I have no milk.

    I need to get some.

The house is so warm and cosy.

Feck. There is no one here who can go instead of me. Feck.

I need tea with milk. I am so annoyed.

I haven't even got a bottle of vino to have instead. Chayzis I am not organised at all. And I am very annoyed with myself now.

Thanks, I'm not too worried about it really. It was probably worthy of a mention in this thread but I had to get out of bed twice to switch it off. Brr!

Its a wet windy stormy day out there. Ideal for staying in snugged up on the couch watching movies.
TA that my day does not involve that.

Woke up and my voice was almost fully back. Half an hour later and it's gone again. It's so annoying. I was at a party last night and no one could hear me or talk to me. Some people thought I was being rude for not joining in the conversation but I just couldn't. You never realise how important something is to you until it's not there!

It's so annoying. I had laryngitis once. Literally couldnt say a word for 3 days straight then for about another week i was like Marge Simpson. I remember trying to explain to the girls at work that I couldn't speak. They were trying not to be rude and leave me out so they kept involving me in conversation but I just couldn't respond. It was so awkward.

I'm TA'd that I wrote a comprehensive reply about my compulsive habits, only to find the thread closed when I hit submit.

Two minutes of my life I can never have back, wasted. :(

Lately, I'm becoming annoyed by all of these click bait videos that invariably begin with "Irish lads..." or "Irish mammy"

I am convinced that the Mod user panel allows them to see when I am writing a reply and then they pounce and shut the thread down.
    Its a conspiracy!

It's a waste of time washing floors the past week. As soon as I have them clean, the dog comes in an tracks muddy paw prints all over the tiles.

That's exactly what was happening to me, I was being included but then everyone was frustrated when they couldn't hear me.

I used to lose my voice for weeks at a time when I was in school. I had all sorts of tests and was sent to speech therapy (with the children :( I was 16!!). Chewing gum is your best friend if it ever happens again!
