Virgin Media Connection Box

    So we just ordered the fiber broadband they have, and the order seems to not have even given us a choice if we want to self-install or not.
    The issue I have now is that we don't have a connection box from them or UPC.
    The last connection box that's in the house is one that still has NTL written on it, back when UPC was still called that here.
    I'm guessing that box would be unsuitable for fiber? Would I have to contact Virgin to fix this then?
    And if I do, any idea how much it will cost given that I got the "free connection" offer as a new customer? (Since it seems to have a cost associated with it if you don't self install.)

    Cablelink - Corus - NTL - UPC - VM (or however it went). Its all Coax, fibre only goes as far as the street corner.

    As long as the cables aren't crap quality you'll be fine.
