Hi guys, I'm having a similar problem to the OP in that my throat has started to hurt lately. I haven't got much experience with different juices so I thought I'd post here for some advice.

I'm using an iStick at the minute after coming from a Kanger. The only juice I have and have used in the iStick is Bianca's Bliss, a Moms & Pops juice. The juice is 10mg in strength and I'm only vaping at 5.5w and even that has started to hurt my throat and chest and leave me coughing for a while after. I imagine it's the juice itself that's the problem, but I can't find anything like the PG/VG so could it be an allergy or could I be particularly sensitive to one of the chemicals in this juice?

Thanks for any advice, I'm hoping to order a new juice right away once I know what to look out for.

I used to find vaping a single flavour for more then a few days would leave my mouth feeling a little sore and I wouldn't get much taste either. I keep around 3+ flavours in different tanks going on rotation throughout the day and also rotate through my stock so new flavours are coming into my daily rotation.

One of the flavours I use is a DIY menthol at just the right strength so as not to be too menthol-y, clears and freshens the throat and taste buds. I'd get a menthol flavour at around 6mg nic and see how you get on.

Yes its easy to do, most of us more experienced users can wrap a coil in seconds, but we must be responsible about encouraging new vapers to do things that are actually advanced.
Better to let them learn about ohms law, battery safety etc and understand the devices they are using before reccommending someone to build a coil of potentially low resistance or use a battery which may not be suitable.

    Walk before you run.

I agree that we all should educate ourselves on safety before going sub ohm, but a bit of practice on the subtank rba with a regulated mod is a great start to building.
A few YouTube vids and start wrapping coils above 1 ohm and it will build confidence for the next step while also producing a more satisfying vape.
