Will have? No doubt you have something to back this up.

are we not supposed to be discussing cases before the courts or is that rule only applied when boards are ****ting themselves of getting sued?

Leaving aside the 'legalise' debate, I'm more interested in posters correctly predicting the run of this case through the 'system'

Defence cliche bingo if you will

We start with what we know, 55 yo male.

    - free legal aid, of course.
    - bail to be granted, of course.
    - grandfather?
    - on disability?
    - was told to drive the vehicle to pay off a drug debt for a relative
    - won't reveal who told them to move said vehicle for 'fear of their life'

Feel free to add the inevitable excuses and when trial time rolls around we can have a proper round of 'legal defence and excuses bingo'

    Rules:
    -You can't post contradictory excuses
    - relatives and friends of the perp excluded

I predict he's ****ed if you're called up for jury duty any time soon

You got me there. I can't think of any studies that indicate alcohol cause health issues or negatively effect societal cohesion.

You're incapable of reading the OP and comprehending the instructions, it baffles me anyone would engage you...

You asked me to discuss a case. The rules on boards rightfully forbid me from discussing the case.

So alcohol in ANY quantity causes health issues or will 'negative effect societal cohesion'. Is that correct?

So how much do you think a barman will serve in his lifetime? Can that amount be measured in nano or microlitres or maybe more realistically in litres?

Yes molecule for molecule alcohol causes more problems.

I don't he means or said in "any" quantity , I think what saying is that alcohol can cause health issues and " create negative effect social cohesion ".

So yes Sonny a barman will generally do much more damage to society than someone selling cannabis.

So we have switched from a year to a lifetime?

Take your pick S. A year VS alcohol or a lifetime of alcohol. The effects are pretty well documented. This isn't new information.

S you're looking for clarification on relatively simple points. What do you not understand?

@ unsteadyeddy the smoke seems to have had a bad affect on you, you're very argumentative and incapable of understanding simple instructions, the OP clearly states not to go down the tired old road you've attempted to drag this thread

Why don't you start your own thread for the conversation you want to have?

Well you asked this " I'm more interested in posters correctly predicting the run of this case through the 'system' of us.

Boards doesn't allow discussion of ongoing cases so for that simple reason I'm not following any instructions.

so why not work to change them instead of disregarding them.

fair amount of difference between being gay and smoking weed

Both involve sucking on a pipe :)

Spend a night drinking and compare the hangover to a night of smoking cannabis and you'll instantly appreciate the damage drink does. Alcohol is easily one of the nastiest drugs out there. It's dangerous to the person using even small amounts of it, and it's dangerous to society thanks to the effects it has on the person. Cannabis is bad for your health if you smoke it, but there's no definitive studies that show it's dangerous over long periods of time. The same can't be said for alcohol, we know for a fact it's a dangerous drug.

My concern is the manner with how this stuff get's into our hands. It's no co-incidence that Columbia one the ganglord capital of the world and also the largest producers of this stuff.

Legalising personal use is a lower priority than legalising production. Legalise that, and the global crime rates drop. Only legalise consumption in Western countries (which is where legalisation movements are strongest) and crime in Central & South America will rise significantly. Legalise both, and the world becomes a better place.;)

If this guy is involved with gang-crime then he did do something morally wrong by supporting that system. If he grew it himself then fair play.
