Do I need have to have passed my cpc case study before my c driven test

    Hi I was wondering iv passed my theory test for rigids and have my my driven test did I need to have done my case study test before my driven test or can I do the driven test followed by the case study and cpc practical test??

    As far as I know you cannot apply for a driving test without having passed the cpc case studies first.

    If you want to drive professionaly you need to complete all the CPC stage 1-4 and then get your full licence and CPC card..

    If you will not be driving proffsionaly then its CPC stage 1 and Stage 3 is all you need to get the full licence.

    You can of course do your driving test without taking CPC theory tests prior to that.
    However you can't do CPC practictal before doing CPC theory tests.

    And very often it's very handy to do driving test and CPC practical at the same time, as it costs you less on truck rental.

    Nonsense.
    CPC is not obligatory.
    From what you're saying, it would be impossible to pass bus or truck test, to add C, C1, D, or D1 category to your licence without doing CPC.

    Obviously you can do it without doing CPC if you want.

    Did you not read the attachment I put up,it there in black and white(well Red)
    I Recently passed my Category 'D' licence

    Yeap, I've seen your attachement.
    "Please not you must have passed all CPC theory tests before you will be allowed schedule for your CPC Driving Test and Practical"

    There's no such thing as CPC Driving Test.
    Driving test is just a driving test. Nothing to do with CPC.
    I would contact them directly and ask to schedule me for "Non-CPC Driving Test".
    In short they don't know what they are doing or putting up the website, but one thing is for sure. There definitely is an option to do Driving test without doing CPC.
    CPC is not a requirement to obtain Bus or Truck licence.

    If it doesn't work through their website, there must be some other option.

    I know what you are saying,This is Just my recent Experience,I was not allowed to apply to do my driving test until I passed the 2 cpc tests:)

    also when I passed my Test & Cpc Walk Around I was giving a Cpc Cert saying that I had passed All 4 parts to the cat 'D' CPC,
    so they must now include the pratical test as part off your Cpc.

    I've seen them describing it as 4 part's for CPC. It's extremelly misleading.

    Anyway - Driving test has nothing to do with CPC, and there must be an option to do it without doing CPC.

    Thanks for the reply I did my step 2 cpc and passed last Thursday was a bit hard but got 33 out of 45 what do I do with the certificate do I hand that to the tester or the ndla?

    I undertook (and passed) my C+E driving test in July 2014. I have not completed any CPC theory or practical test(s) (before or since) as I only require my licence for private usage.

    The ordinary driver theory test is CPC 'stage 1'. Younger drivers will have to take 'stage 2' which is the case studies.

    Not only can you take a test without CPC stages 2-4, you can drive a truck without CPC for commercial purposes provided that driving that truck is not your primary occupation.

    Hi,
    You Can now apply for your test,The RSA will know you passed the case studies & issue you a test date in time.
    I still have my case studies cert,nobody has ever asked me for it
    Don't forget to book your Cpc Walk Around test at the same time you book your driving test as you will have to book the Truck/Bus Again for the hour or so
    if you don't.
