Neck /shoulder pain after cycling

To keep it brief, I quit cycling due to neck and shoulder pain. Within a couple of hours of getting of the bike I would get a darting paid up the left side of my shoulder blade up into my neck, left side. To keep it brief, I quit cycling due to neck and shoulder pain.
Within a couple of hours of getting of the bike I would get a darting paid up the left side of my shoulder blade up into my neck, left side.
It would get to the point were I couldn't turn my head left for a few days as it would be awful painful to even try.
I messed around with ride position many times to no avail.

Has anyone else suffered this?

If so, what helped?

I'm so miserable off the bike

Something similar yes - go see a doctor or physio as medical advice is not permitted on Boards
