Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Picked up the new Chvrches album today. Haven't been this disappointed with an anticipated new release in long time. The Bones of What You Believe certainly wasn't perfect, but the high points of the album were amazing synthpop gems. The singles released from this album are good but don't grab me in the same way as the likes of 'The Mother We Share' and 'Gun'. The album itself has lot of unmemorable material and even a couple of tracks that border on poor.

This album sounds rushed and it sounds like they were too focused on touring their first album to take the adequate amount of time to write quality material for their second.

Probably won't be to everyone's taste but the new Grimes record is wonderful.

    Absolute belter of an album.

Also well worth checking out is El Vy, the new project from Matt Berninger of the National. More interesting and varied than the last National album, though perhaps not quite as good. But a real gem of an album.*

Disclaimer: the National are my absolute favourite band on the planet so review may contain bias.

Bon Iver have announced an Asian tour in 2016 so there has to be a record imminent.
