I've never heard of a group certificate and I work in payroll. What exactly is it you're looking for? Is it a record of your pay and tax for the year? If so, then this information should be on your P45.

Hi Laura, the company you worked for should issue the Group cert, not the Aussie government,

If it is not your first year, your return will be prefilled at this stage if you are submitting online so the details should all be in there that would be on the Group cert.
