People justifying this stuff or being an apologist for this kind of murder in anyway need to be be very careful.

130 innocent people have been murdered on the streets of Paris. Many more in critical condition.

All this requires in solidarity, outrage and mourning.

Talk about or even the hint at "comeuppance" for "the west" is sinister and does nothing but enable the murder of your fellow Europeans.

My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones. I was in bed early and woke to see this all over the news this morning. Twilight zone!

    Just horrific :(

A psychologist is on Sky News saying we need to stop apologizing for the terrorists, as it is endulging young Muslims to feel agrieved.

I have to agree with him. The apologists are helping to radicalise these disaffected youth looking for a cause.

No doubt on the BBC they are having a panel of "academics" talking about the disenfranchised youth. I had little respect for the BBC before this. I have even less now after watching them last night.

As for gatwick incident I hope this is just a minor incident or hoax. However the UK and maybe London in particular needs to brace itself for incidents such as last night in Paris. After all they have some supposed places of worship in their capital city and beyond that try to radicalise young men into carrying out such attacks. Madness but the loony left will keep making excuses and the legal profession will no doubt be making hay from the aftermath of all this.

They have to be taken literally. If you put your own meaning on things, whats the point

I saw some dreadful stuff on this thread which even spread elsewhere on Boards.

the Mods. really need to get it together - people are being pulled up for petty little things and not being allowed post again. Blatant racism which revealed itself last night is the real problem that should be getting their attention.

Unless you haven't noticed people are extremely angry at what happened in Paris. It's an outright attack not just on the French people but on our European culture, values and freedom. These are fundamental rights that may incite a ruthless defence when threatened.

I say it's not racism...but a natural reaction to human instinct.

I agree - this whole issue boils down to the usual ingredients - inadequate, sexually frustrated young men looking to vent their frustration on society.

How to deal with it ?
Proper border controls and security checks in cities ? Yes.
More economic and social liberalism ? Yes.

unlikely though being an atheist & all.

I'm just reminding you if you want to sh*t on christianity, at least do so from scriptures of Christ.

I was asked for where it the bible it stated it, not where in the bible does it state Jesus said it.

More research.... less emoticons... t'would be a more fruitful use of your time.

As I said, if you want to vent on christianity, read up on what the big JC had to say himself.
Give his followers that much respect at least.

    I agree.

its equally wrong to ignore the legacy of the Bush and Blair-led wars which caused tremendous anger in the Muslim world and the events of last night are an indirect result of those misguided and discredited policies.

    Gawd.

It must be lovely in Liberal lala land.

The Koran, Q'ran, Quran, is NOT OUTDATED.

It is the UNCHANGEABLE, LITERAL word of GOD for ALL TIME.

It is NOT OUTDATED because it cannot be " updated ".

So, I'm afraid those normal every day good muslims will be reading about killing the unbeliever for as long as the Koran exists.

The bit about killing jews is not a " parable ".

Mohammed himself, you know, Islam's version of Jesus, personally led his followers in beheading 900 jews in a single afternoon. Perhaps he even used one of his 8 swords, including his favourite, " The Cleaver Of Necks ". ( What was Jesus's favourite sword called ? )

Mohammed himself, , you know, Islam's version of Jesus, personally instructed his followers to rape women who were " unbelievers " and if they felt like it, kidnap them and hold them captive for the single purpose of rape when they felt like using a women for their own self gratification. Mohammed himself personally owned 4 women for that purpose.,

Mohammed himself, you know, Islam;s version of Jesus, demanded and instructed that anyone who criticised him should be murdered, and he ordered the murder of about 50 of his critics during his lifetime, including poets and artists. And you don't get why Charlie Hebdo happened.

You are deluded and uniformed and therefore part of the problem with your talk of ordinary " moderate " Islam.

If they all believe in it, why are so many fleeing. People can be do idiotic. Maybe all the muslims I know are secretly contemplating killing me. Yeah, that's it.

Ignorance is rife here today. Stay getting angry at the millions that needed help by fkeeing to europe. You are only harming yourself with your anger and hostility.

They should really stay out of it and mind their own fcuking business for once. The only fcukers invading are the US. How many countries did Assad invade or threaten??

The world is crazy and people need to study what is actually happening here

The US hasn't invaded Syria. Saddam invaded Kuwait and Iran pre the US invasion of Iraq. He also gassed and bombed the **** out of the Kurds. Assad has bombed the **** out of various groups in Syria.

Not trying to validate American actions, but to paint the Arab world as some garden of peace where nobody "invades or threatens" anyone else is just wrong.

I'm just reminding you if you want to sh*t on christianity, at least do so from scriptures of Christ.

Chapter & verse... whenever you can find it.

@BoJack, Christ did not once mention or appear to give a bollocks about homosexuality. The basis for the Catholic and other churches' hatred of homosexuals is in the old testament. The same verses which form the basis of that hatred, the book of Leviticus, call for all kinds of barbaric acts against ordinary people for doing "unholy" things.

Why are you pretending to be unaware that Catholicism and other Christian denominations regard parts of the Old Testament as canon, just as canon as the teachings of Christ himself?

Christ was a good man and he taught good things. Personally I believe that he was indeed the Son of God. But it cannot be denied that the humans who have been charged over the centuries with looking after his legacy have f*cked it up beyond recognition. The Church's behaviour in Ireland is proof enough of that, FFS.

if you are saying you didnt see any racism on Boards last night, well I can't believe that.

My own emotions are shock more so than anger.

why should I be more angry now that at mass killings in the Middle East or Africa or wherever??

I still cannot find any media showing people with bad injuries. Not nice to see but we need to question everything. I remember after the Boston event, the video of the guy on the wheelchair with no legs being wheeled into shot was replayed over and over again...

So please upload them if anyone can find something. With a warning of course.

Did you know there are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world.

Think about it, if it was an entire religion of of war and murder, it would be a lot more than sneaky attacks but would be a full out war.

The incredible mass majority of Muslims do not agree with IS and are in just as much danger as anyone else for doing so.

Much like Christianity, there is no single belief but a few variants instead.

More danger. Most people killed by fundamental Islam are Muslims.

Nonsense. Of course "local" issues effect us more. That's true of everyone, completely natural.

No one's quite sure of the details, but something fairly serious is going on there, indeed:
