So if there's an attack in 2032 on a LUAS line, then we know who the first suspect will be ..

    You see a mousetrap.

F**king fascist trash behind these brutal atrocities, trying to make ordinary people live in fear by attacking the things ordinary people enjoy such as concerts and sport events.

It's such a strange concept, for me personally, that someone could have such hate and anger that they are willing to strap bombs to them and kill themselves for their cause.

Do you concern yourself as much with the rationales of the various discontented loners and losers who go on shooting rampages? Its commonly understood that it is a *huge* mistake for media to fixate on the shooters and their "causes" when discussing such cases as it glorifies the killers and their thinking. The same is true for Jihadist groups - these people are almost universally recruited from the loners and losers of their communities. Glorifying them by struggling to present some human rationale to their actions is a fools errand, and worse it makes their cause "respectable" to any who might seek to follow them.

So you admit multi-culturalism has failed?

This isn't down to multiculturalism- it's poor economic and social policy making that caused ghettoisation

Spot on. The terrorists have us by the bollox, and our Governments are only looking to see what more quangos and rules they can enforce on people, what new taxes they can impose, whilst they increase their pensions, intead of putting resources where they should be put.

Will you still take your million refugees in Merkel you fookin idiot?

    Just two?

That's what I thought. Bet there were more but they have realised what was happening and thrown their weapons away only to be let out with the crowd.

UPADATE from Sky : 2 Attackers killed. No final civillian death toll yet.

No one on the looney left supports terrorism or Islamic State or anything like that. While I have issues with the amount of refugees coming from conservative countries (not just muslim) and the impact that will have on a liberal society -- the problem with terrorism is Islamic Extremism not Islam itself.

No the problem is Islam. It has no place in Europe.

A witness on sky said they had kept playing the match for 20 minutes after the attack. The crowd must have been so nervous. The French are a resilient people and have come through many atrocities in their history and will come through this also. Vive la France. Internal security in France is a problem when I learnt of this I instantly thought Neo-Nazis or gangland crimes what with a spate of homicides and people being recruited in terrorist organisations oversees coming from within France.

I can't look away from the news. I am horrified. The French emergency services have been heroes tonight.... It's an awful, awful situation but there are people out there putting their lives on the line to save others.

RIP to all those who lost their lives tonight. I can't imagine how those affected feel. This is just so scary.

That is so far down the list of priorities in a situation like this it's almost offensive.

He's right. The victims of terrorism are not just the dead and maimed but the fear it invokes. That's the point – to spread terror.

Unless you're both trained militarily & or on a state of high alert most ordinary people with guns would be useless in a surprise attack like this. Chances are they'd just panic & could end up shooting innocent people themselves. Or their guns would be taken from them by the attackers. Or police units would mistake them for part of the attack & shoot them.
